Such a cool plant to add to the collection! Mimosa pudica is a creeping member of the pea/legume family Fabaceae. It flowers, showcases small pink blooms.
Known as "sensitive plants", "shy plants", "tickle me", "touch me nots" etc. these humidity loving plants respond to light, temperature and touch by folding their little leaves inwards. A fun time to watch them naturally do this is at night, when they fold their leaves as if to turn in for the night!
