Sansevieria trifasciata, (now known as Dracaena trifasciata) is undoubtedly the toughest houseplant of the century. These gentle giants give immediate grandeur and poise to even the smallest of rooms. Drought-tolerant, they can withstand considerable neglect, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't lovingly dust their leaves and give them a thorough watering when their soil has dried!
They continually produce oxygen even at night, so are a great choice for a bedroom.
