Pachira aquatica
Money tree, guiana chestnut, or the saba nut...mucho dinaro! This well-known plant in native to Central and South America where it grows in swamps (thus, "aquatica") One of the easiest 'trees' to keep indoors - can grow as large as you want!
Light: Bright light, bright indirect, to low light
Water: stores water in the thick trunks, so best to let soil dry out thoroughly between watering.
*if plant is in a nursery pot, lift it to test hydration level. If the pot is light, time to water! It is always best to plant in a pot with drainage holes.
