Ficus elastica "Burgundy"
One of the most popular rubber plants, this specimen features broad and thick burgundy leaves, almost black - with green undersides. This majestic specimen will slowly but surely mature into a tree given enough light.
Commonly referred to as the rubber plant not just for the (toxic) latex emitted when a leaf or branch is broken, but for the dark glistening leaves that remind you of a bouncy car tire!
