Zamia furfuracea
Just take a feel of the foliage of this plant and you will understand why it is nicknamed, "the cardboard palm" or simply, "cardboard plant." Also known as a Jamaican sago or Mexican cycad. The leaves of this tropical specimen look like they should be soft, but are actually quite stiff!
Like the Sago Palm, the Cardboard Palm isn't a palm, but actually a cycad.
