The heart shaped "flowers" of these plants are so vibrant and at times look synthetic! Fun fact, the bright colours are actually not flowers, but part of the leaves! The flowering variety of these plants produce a red or yellow spike, similar to that seen on peace lilies. Provide humidity and warmth and the colourful leaves will last for quite some time.
"Flowers" may fade or wilt over time, simply make a cut at the base of the flower stem to remove it. Even a happy anthurium may lose blooms as part of its natural life cycle. As long as you are providing this tropical plant with the conditions it likes, new bright blooms will form.
